Work Work and life evaluation
So I am being evaluated tomorrow. Unofficially. I have to plan a lesson on the number twenty. So after some prompting from my mother, my aunt, a very experienced teacher, helped me out. I spent a good portion of the day planning the lesson and preparing teaching aids.Ugh! for some reason I've got a huge feeling that fun in my life is gone and now it's just work work work from here on out. How sad and depressing is that? Children grow up and think, "I am responsible for my destiny!" When they become adults, they think, "I am responsible for my destiny and my child's destiny?" When their children have children, they think, " My children are responsible for their offspring's destiny." Which is why grandparents spoil their grandchildren. They know their children therefore they know how screwed up the lives of their grandchildren will be. Just Kidding. But seriously, why does adulthood become this burden, this task that you have to carry out, this huge undertaking? Because we're thinking about our posterity and how they will survive. We stop caring about ourselves and we start caring about how we can provide for the next generation. Say something crazy like God is responsible your destiny and people think you're crazy for waiting for that miracle to occur. So you take your destiny in your hands and guess what? You lose fun and joy and you're sad all the time. Life has become a chore and you work, work, work to the bone for what? Children that you cannot even see. And if they do exist they're too young to care. And when they become old enough to care they're too disrespectful to care. And then when they stop being disrespectful they care too much about their children to even care about the amount of work you've put in so that thy could have a good life. That is why grandparents spoil their children. Work, work, work. " and so it goes until the day you DIE!" - Love Stinks
