An excerpt from a productive day
My aunt sent me on errands today. All I had to do was drop some bill payments in the mailbox and buy some coconut water, green bananas, potatoes and mayonnaise. On the way to the mail box and the store, I dropped the mail on the ground, which was soaking wet with rain. Probably if I wasn't so focused on getting the "right" song to play on my MP3 player, I would have kept a good grip on the 2 pieces of mail in my hand. Luckily, the letter carrier was nearby, so I asked him if it would be okay to drop the mail which was partially drenched into the mailbox. He told me that I should let it dry a little and then he pointed out that one of the pieces of mail was lacking a stamp. After buying the groceries, I went back home, took out my trusty hairdryer and got to work. It took all of 10 minutes (tops) to dry the letter. After addressing the stamp issue, I was good to go. No day is a waste really. I mean, I wrote less today but I felt the most productive today.
